Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment GD/Clerk/Technical/Nursing Assistant

Indian Army recruits General Duty (GD), Soldier Clerk, Soldier Technical and Nursing Asst. vacancies every year. Those who interested in this post and want to serve in Indian army can read this article before and check Selection Process details given below. Candidates are advised to check their age & education criteria before participating in the rally. Candidates found under age / overage and not meeting education criteria will be disqualified.

Age Details:  Candidates should not be less than 17 ½ years and more than 21 years for GD Constable and 23 Years for Soldier Clerk, Soldier Technical and Nursing Assistant posts.

Education Qualification for Army Recruitment: 

Soldier General Duty (All Arms)

Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system, minimum D Grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 Grade.

Soldier Technical

10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum of 40% in each subject.

Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant (AMC) / Nursing Assistant Veterinary

10+2 / Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject. or 10+2/intermediate pass in science with physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)

10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum of 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Math's / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
